From the artist: While the Met features a multitude of impressive exhibits, the spirited and impromptu shows outside of its halls demonstrate that not all art can be hung on a wall.

From the artist: A quiet moment in the hustle of a hot and humid summer day in NYC, as two people find relief and joy in an open fire hydrant.

From the artist: With most indoor places closed and vaccines only available to few in February 2021, a couple sit down by the frozen Harlem Meer in the northern end of Central Park to enjoy the view, some food, and the last rays of sunlight.

Shlomo Friedman is currently a fourth year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He previously attended Yeshiva University, where he majored in Biology and English. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, photography, and running.
